Turkish Association for Seismic Isolation (TASI) - (Deprem İzolasyon Derneği) (DID) was founded on March 23, 2006. The Members come from representatives of International manufacturers involved in seismic isolation technologies, Structural Engineering Firms and Construction companies and other individuals and corporations who are interested in seismic isolation technologies.
The major purpose of the Association, is to spend efforts and to make activities to prevent losses in buildings, in sensitive machines and equipment and in all kinds of structures, by taking precautions against vibrations produced by either earthquake or mechanical equipment, by means of seismic isolation.
Turkish Association for Seismic Isolation (TASI) is the Local Organizer of 10th World Conference on Seismic Isolation, Energy Dissipation and Active Vibrations Control of Structures - ASSISi 10th World Conference which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey in 2007.
More detailed information will be available at www.did-tasi.org/seminar
Companies as well as individuals which believe in the principles of TASI and accept to work on the same direction, have the right to become a member of TASI.
